Proper Help Foundation Donation Eliminates $2,630 in Lunch Debt at Annapolis Middle School
A recent wave of generosity has helped relieve financial pressure for families at Annapolis Middle School, with $2,630 in outstanding school lunch debt paid off through a donation coordinated by the Proper Help Foundation.
The milestone was highlighted in a recent social media post by Sarah Stusek, thanking supporters on behalf of the Proper Help Foundation for contributing to the effort, which directly benefits students whose families have struggled to keep up with meal costs. Advocates say eliminating lunch debt helps ensure students have consistent access to meals without the stigma or stress that unpaid balances can create.
The Proper Help Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has encouraged continued community support to sustain and expand its assistance programs.
Donations can be made via Zelle or PayPal to properhelpfoundation@gmail.com, or through the organization’s website at properhelpfoundation.com. Contributions are tax-deductible under IRS Tax ID 99-0479092.
Community leaders note that even modest donations can have an immediate and tangible impact, helping students focus on learning rather than financial hardship.
