Man Sustains Possible Life Threatening Injuries Following Madison Street Shooting

A 42 year old man was rushed to an area trauma center with potentially life threatening injuries following a shooting on Madison Street in Annapolis.

Emergency vehicles responded to the area on Madison Street just before 9:30 last night. Upon arrival, the victim was located with injuries consistent with being shot in the stomach area and lower body. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition. 

A police department spokesperson has since reported the man in stable condition. Department officials did not release details regarding potential suspects, suspect vehicles or property damage.
