Maryland Governor Wes Moore addressed speculation about a potential presidential run on Thursday, stating that he does not intend to seek the presidency in 2028.
A lifelong Marylander, Governor Moore indicated his focus is on seeking re-election as Governor in 2026.
He expressed enthusiasm for the ongoing work in Maryland, citing figures related to labor force participation, the state's service year option program, and other key initiatives.
"I'm really excited about the work that's being done in the state of Maryland," Moore said.
