Brooklyn Park Man Taken into Custody in Connection with Wife's Murder

The Anne Arundel County Police Department has announced the arrest of a Brooklyn Park resident in connection with the murder of his wife. 

According to a press release, department officials stated that on May 23, 2025, at approximately 9:05 a.m., officers responded to a report of a deceased individual in the area of Disney Road and Alley 79 in Brooklyn Park. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased female with apparent trauma to her body. Homicide Unit investigators later identified the victim as 44-year-old Sarah Elizabeth Calloway, of Curtis Bay. 

Through investigative means, detectives identified the suspect as the husband of Sarah Calloway, 49-year-old Cedric Dion Calloway, of Baltimore. On May 23, 2025, Homicide Unit detectives applied for and received an arrest warrant for Calloway, charging him with the murder of his wife.
