County Police Investigates Attempted Robbery of Doordash Driver in Glen Burnie

Anne Arundel County Police officers are investigating the attempted carjacking of a Doordash delivery driver in Glen Burnie. 

On February 20, 2021 at approximately 9:20 pm, officers responded to the 6600 block Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie for a report of an attempted carjacking. The victim is a driver for Door Dash who believes to have been followed from a prior delivery to the area of Heritage Hill at West Ordnance Road in Glen Burnie. While stopped at the intersection, two suspects, described as black males wearing dark clothing, approached the victim’s vehicle, implied they had a weapon, and ordered him out of the vehicle. The victim did not comply and continued towards Ritchie Highway to call 911.

 The suspect vehicle was believed to be a dark colored vehicle, last seen heading west on Ordnance Road. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle and suspects.
