Queenstown Day 2026 Community Celebration Returns to Severn July 11th

The Severn Improvement Association has announced the return of the annual Queenstown Day Community Celebration, an event that brings together residents, families, businesses, and community organizations for a day of fellowship, entertainment, and community pride.

Queenstown Day 2026 will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Queenstown Park, located at 600 Queenstown Road in Severn.

The free, family-friendly event will begin with the annual Queenstown Day Parade from noon until 1 p.m., followed by an afternoon of activities, entertainment, food, vendors, and attractions designed for attendees of all ages.

According to organizers, this year’s celebration will feature live music and entertainment, food and community vendors, inflatable attractions, face painting, sports games and activities, horseback riding, a cornhole tournament, and a variety of family-friendly activities throughout the day.

Guests attending the event are encouraged to bring their own tables, chairs, and tents for comfort and seating. Organizers also noted that grills will not be permitted and that road closures will take effect promptly at noon.

“Queenstown Day represents the heart of our community and the importance of preserving traditions that bring families and neighbors together,” said Marvin Hayes Jr., president of the Severn Improvement Association. “We are excited to welcome everyone back for another year of celebration, unity, and positive community engagement.

The association also recognized several sponsors supporting Queenstown Day 2026, including Rayarp Strategies Group, LLC, Chick-fil-A and Petals and Silk Event Design.

The Severn Improvement Association is encouraging community participation and welcomes involvement from local businesses, organizations, and supporters interested in helping make the event a success.
