Report Annapolis News Opens Nominations for Community Leader of the Quarter
Report Annapolis News is calling on readers to recognize the unsung heroes making a difference across Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. The Community Leader of the Quarter will honor individuals who demonstrate outstanding leadership through service, advocacy, and dedication.
Starting in March, one individual will be recognized each quarter—March, June, September, and December—for exemplifying meaningful community involvement. The initiative aims to highlight those whose efforts often go unnoticed but have a profound impact on the lives of others in Annapolis and Anne Arundel County.
Nominees must be 18 years or older and demonstrate significant leadership or service within the community. Nonprofit leaders, educators, volunteers, advocates, and faith-based or civic leaders are especially encouraged to apply.
How to Submit a Nomination
Nominations should be submitted by email to info@reportannapolis.com with the subject line: Community Leader of the Month Nomination.
Submissions must include:
-Nominee’s full name, organization or affiliation (if applicable), mailing address, email, and cell phone number
-A detailed explanation, at least three paragraphs or 15 sentences, describing the nominee’s -leadership, service, and impact
Your name and relationship to the nominee
-A photo of the nominee
Nominations are accepted year-round, and the winners will be published on the last Sunday of each quarter.
This initiative offers the community an opportunity to celebrate individuals whose work strengthens the fabric of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. Readers are encouraged to nominate someone whose dedication and leadership make a lasting difference.
