County Police Arrest Man on Odenton Commercial Robbery Allegations
On January 3, 2026, at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to the Pet Supplies Plus located in the 1100 block of Annapolis Road in Odenton for a robbery of the business, department officials stated in a news release.
According to the police department, further investigation revealed the suspect allegedly entered the business, pointed a handgun at the employee, and demanded money. "The employee complied and surrendered the money to the suspect, who fled but was later located traveling on Annapolis Road on his bicycle," the release states. "The suspect attempted to flee but was apprehended without incident.
The suspect, Charles A. W. Couser, who remains innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, was allegedly found to be in possession of an air-powered BB replica pistol.
