Authorities Investigate Reported Robbery of Wawa Near Bestgate Road in Annapolis

Authorities are investigating a robbery which recently occurred at the Wawa store near the Bestgate Road area of Annapolis, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

On February 18, 2026, at 1:10 p.m., Southern District officers responded to the Wawa store located in the 600 block of Admiral Drive in Annapolis for a report of a robbery of the business. Preliminary investigation revealed a male suspect entered the store, assaulted a clerk and stole items from behind the counter before fleeing the area in a tan sedan.

Suspect is described by the police department as a Black male in his late teens to early 20’s, approximately 5’6”, wearing a black mask, a white hood under a tan hoodie, black gloves, blue jeans and black boots.
