Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney’s Office Participates in American University Spring Externship Fair


The Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney’s Office took part in the Spring Externship Fair at American University Washington College of Law on Thursday afternoon, connecting with law students interested in hands-on experience in criminal law.


Representing the office at the event were Assistant State’s Attorney and Washington College of Law alum Idrienne Walker, Assistant State’s Attorney Darrien Gaskins, and Communications Specialist Heather Stone. The team provided information to students about the office’s Summer Clerkship Program and discussed opportunities for practical learning within the criminal justice system.

The Summer Clerkship Program is designed for law students in the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. area who are interested in gaining real-world experience while exploring a career in criminal law.
