Governor Moore Appoints Anne Arundel Deputy State's Attorney Brian Marsh to District Court

Governor Wes Moore today announced the appointment of Anne Arundel County Deputy State's Attorney Brian Marsh to the District Court for Anne Arundel County.

Marsh currently serves as the Deputy State's Attorney for Anne Arundel County. Prior to that role, he served as an Assistant Attorney General for Maryland in the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, where he led complex civil and criminal investigations.

Before joining the Office of the Attorney General, Marsh was an Assistant State's Attorney in Baltimore City's Special Victim's Unit. In that position, he prosecuted cases involving human trafficking, sexual offenses, and technology-facilitated crimes against children.

Marsh also served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable David Boynton in the Montgomery County Circuit Court. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.

The appointment was announced alongside that of Windy Rhea Ortega, who was also named to the District Court for Anne Arundel County.
