Anne Arundel County Police Investigating Fatal Shooting in Odenton
According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, officers responded at approximately 8:50 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, to the 500 block of Williamsburg Lane for a report of a shooting that had just occurred. When officers arrived, they located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds on a sidewalk within the residential neighborhood. Despite emergency response efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives have responded and remain on scene as they continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Authorities have not yet released the victim's identity or announced whether any suspects have been identified or taken into custody.
