Annapolis Police Department Celebrates Two Longtime Employees' Retirement

The Annapolis Police Department recently recognized two longtime employees during a retirement celebration honoring their years of dedicated public service to the Annapolis community.

During the ceremony, Acting Police Chief Amy Miguez presented each retiree with a City Council Citation from the City of Annapolis, along with departmental recognition acknowledging their commitment and years of service.

Ms. Veronica Parker concluded a remarkable 37-year career with the Annapolis Police Department. According to the department, Ms. Parker's career began in Parking Enforcement before concluding in the Records Division. The department expressed its gratitude for her dedicated and compassionate service, noting that she will be greatly missed.

The second retiree, Mr. Archie Trader, was honored following a combined 20 years of service with Annapolis Recreation & Parks and the Annapolis Police Department. The police department thanked him for his service to the residents and visitors of Annapolis and wished him a happy retirement.

The Annapolis Police Department encouraged the community to join in congratulating both retirees and wishing them the very best in their future endeavors as they begin this new chapter.
