Caucus of African American Leaders to Honor 100 Men of Distinction During Awards Program in Annapolis
The Caucus of African American Leaders (CAAL) will host its 100 Men of Distinction Award Program on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Phoenix Academy, located at 1411 Cedar Park Road in Annapolis.

According to event organizers, the program will recognize 100 outstanding men whose leadership, service, and commitment have made a positive impact in their communities. The event is centered on celebrating individuals who inspire future generations while helping build lasting legacies through civic engagement and community involvement.
The program's keynote address will be delivered by Pete Smith, County Councilman and Candidate for Anne Arundel County Executive candidate. Organizers describe the event as an opportunity to honor men whose dedication to leadership, service, community, and excellence continues to strengthen neighborhoods and improve the lives of others.
