City of Annapolis Announces Four Budget Town Halls Across Annapolis

The City of Annapolis has announced four upcoming Budget Town Hall meetings aimed at helping residents better understand the City’s budget process while providing an opportunity for community members to ask questions and share feedback with City leadership.

The town halls will bring together Mayor Jared Littmann, members of the Annapolis City Council and City department leadership. Each meeting will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at locations across the City, beginning in September and continuing through November.

According to the City, feedback gathered during the meetings will help inform the next budget cycle, which begins in April 2027.

“Crafting a budget comes down to setting priorities that align City dollars with resident needs,” Mayor Littmann said. He added that the town halls will give City officials an opportunity to explain the budget process and how decisions are made.
