Police Arrest Two Subjects Following 'Gun Battle' in Pasadena

The Anne Arundel County Department recently announced the arrests of two people in connection with a "gun battle" in Pasadena. 

According to department officials, units responded for a non-contact shooting in the area of Pendragon Way and Brickwall Lane in Pasadena on September 24, 2023, at approximately 5:30 p.m. "Responding officers learned that a 19-year-old male and an unidentified suspect were involved in a gun battle with another unknown suspect. Officers searched the area and only located the 19-year-old male suspect," the department said.

The 19-year-old was taken into custody, charged and identified as: Christopher Lloyd Hayden (pictured above, top photo). 

In a press release, the police department said that detectives identified the second suspect involved in this incident through investigative means.  "On September 27, 2023, detectives located the suspect driving in the area of Creek View Court in Pasadena, accompanied by two other male subjects in the vehicle. Detectives detained and searched all occupants of the vehicle."

The second suspect of the shooting, Rasun Quadir Torbit (pictured above, bottom photo), was allegedly found to possess a 9mm Glock 17 handgun, $2,111 in U.S. currency, approximately 18 grams of suspected crack cocaine, and 26 suspected Oxycontin pills. 

The vehicle's front passenger reportedly had a 45-caliber Glock 30 handgun and approximately five grams of suspected powder cocaine. The rear passenger was found to be in possession of a 45-caliber Glock 30 handgun. They were arrested, charged and identified as:
