Ann’s Dari Creme Celebrates 76 Years of Serving Generations of Customers

Ann’s Dari Creme is celebrating its 76th anniversary this weekend, marking another year for the longtime Glen Burnie restaurant that has served generations of customers.

The milestone comes one year after Ann’s celebrated its 75th anniversary with a special celebration on August 31, 2025. As Report Annapolis News reported at the time, the anniversary featured specials and giveaways, including T-shirts for the first 75 customers and 75-cent ice cream cones.

The 75th anniversary also received recognition from the State of Maryland. In the days leading up to the celebration, Governor Wes Moore visited Ann’s Dari Creme and congratulated the restaurant on reaching the milestone.

“Ann’s Dari Creme got a new team member today,” Governor Moore said during the visit. “Congrats on 75 years.”

Ann’s also received a Governor’s Citation of Recognition from the State of Maryland commemorating its 75th anniversary.

“Today we were pleased to receive the Governors Citation of Recognition from The State of Maryland, celebrating our 75th Anniversary,” Ann’s stated at the time. “It is an honor to receive this award and be able to continue to serve all of our amazing customers.”

Now, one year later, the restaurant is marking 76 years and again placing the focus on the customers and families who have supported Ann’s across generations.

“We owe it all to our customers who have shared Anns with your family, and made Ann’s more than just a place to grab a bite, you’ve made it a part of our community for generations of families,” Ann’s shared in announcing this weekend’s anniversary.

On Sunday, the restaurant’s anniversary sign will officially change from 75 to 76, a simple update representing another year in the history of the longtime Glen Burnie establishment.

“Thank you for being part of the Ann’s story for 76 amazing years,” Ann’s stated. “As you see our sign change from 75 to 76 on Sunday, know we wouldn’t be here without all of you!”

The restaurant concluded its anniversary message by looking ahead: “Here’s to many more years of serving our wonderful customers!”
