Annapolis Police Athletic League (PAL) Youth Attend 2026 National Youth Summit Focused on Leadership and Opportunity

Youth from the Annapolis Police Athletic League recently joined hundreds of young people from across the country for the 2026 Youth Summit, an event focused on leadership, personal development and future opportunities.

According to the Annapolis Police Department, Corporal J. Davis and Officer T. Williams accompanied Annapolis PAL youth to the summit last week, where they joined approximately 400 PAL participants from across the United States.

The summit provided an immersive, youth-centered experience designed to encourage participants to grow as leaders while exploring opportunities for their futures.

Throughout the program, youth had opportunities to build meaningful connections with peers and mentors, explore leadership, advocacy and service, and learn about potential career pathways. The summit also focused on strengthening confidence, resilience and a sense of purpose among participants.

Youth took part in interactive workshops, conversations and other experiences aimed at helping them understand how they can positively influence their schools, neighborhoods and communities.

The Annapolis Police Athletic League provides an avenue for local youth and law enforcement officers to build relationships through programs and activities. The department highlighted the trip as part of its ongoing community outreach and relationship-building efforts.
