Glen Burnie Man Faces Gun Charge Following Arrest on Parham Court in Severn

A Glen Burnie man has been charged with illegally possessing a firearm after being arrested in Severn yesterday.  

In a press release, the Anne Arundel County Police Department said that on February 15, 2023, at approximately 12:00 p.m., Western District Tactical Patrol Unit detectives observed a weapons violation while conducting proactive patrols in the 8200 block of Parham Court. "Detectives observed a subject they were familiar with due to prior encounters placing an undetermined object underneath a trashcan outside a residence," the press release states.  "Upon further investigation, detectives discovered that the object placed under the trashcan was a loaded, blue/black semi-automatic handgun."

23-year-old
