Burglary Investigation, Drug Bust in Glen Burnie Leads to Multiple Arrests


A Glen Burnie burglary investigation and subsequent drug bust have resulted in multiple multiple, the Anne Arundel County Police Department announced today.  

In a press release, department officials said that on April 3, 2023, detectives from the Northern District Strategic Patrol Team and District Narcotics Team were conducting surveillance in the 400 block of Holly Road in reference to a burglary investigation. "During surveillance, detectives observed four subjects riding a small dirt bike in the area of Holly Road. The four subjects were also loitering next to a red Hyundai sedan, which detectives learned was reported stolen on April 1, 2023," the press release states. "As detectives were preparing to approach the subjects, they entered a dark gray Mazda hatchback, a blue Infiniti sedan, and the red Hyundai sedan."

 Authorities said detectives maintained surveillance of the vehicles and would ultimately end up converging on the vehicles in the area of 5th Avenue SE and Crain Highway in Glen Burnie and took the occupants into custody without incident. During their investigation, detectives confirmed that the Hyundai and Infiniti sedans were reported stolen. 

Detectives applied for and obtained search warrants for the residence on Holly Road. During their search, detectives located a stolen dirtbike, approximately 3,400g of suspected assorted marijuana, approximately 68 grams of suspected Oxy/Fentanyl pills, and an altered semi-automatic handgun. 

All four subjects were arrested, charged accordingly and identified as:
