Authorities Investigate Report of Shots Fired on Copeland Street in Annapolis

The Annapolis Police Department is probing an incident that reportedly occurred on April 25, 2025, at approximately 9:54 p.m.

Following a report of a single gunshot, officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Copeland St. Upon arrival, a disturbance was noted in the vicinity, according to police department officials. 

Sources say after the individuals involved had departed, a comprehensive search of the area was conducted to identify any evidence of ballistics or damage. During this search, officers discovered a single 9mm casing at the rear of the location. 

No property damage or injured persons were located by authorities.
