9MM Gun Recovered, Two Arrests Made Following Brooklyn Park Shooting

The Anne Arundel County Police Department allegedly recovered a handgun and arrested two people while investigating a shooting in Brooklyn Parl last week.

In a statement, department officials said that on August 11, 2023, at approximately 9:10 p.m., officers responded for a report of shots fired in the area of Patrick Henry Drive and Dell Street.  According to the statement, witnesses reported seeing a white sedan in the area as the shots were being fired. "Responding officers observed a white Honda leaving the area. As officers stopped the vehicle, two passengers fled, and the driver was apprehended," the statement said.  "One of the passengers was quickly located and taken into custody."

 Officials said a 9mm handgun was allegedly located in the Honda. Both suspects were charged and identified as:
