Several residents from the neighborhood reported hearing multiple gunshots coming from outside their homes, investigators say.

"Isaiah, a beloved father, son, brother, and friend, was taken from us at the young age of 27 due to senseless violence," an online tribute states. "As a promising boxer, Isaiah was on the verge of turning professional, having recently achieved a national championship bringing him closer the achieving his dreams of stardom."

The online tribute says that Isaiah was fatally shot multiple times in front of his home, just a few feet away from his beloved two-year-old son and his parents.
