City of Annapolis Announces Plans to Open Warming Center at The Stanton Center

The City of Annapolis has announced plans to open a warming Center at the Stanton Center.

In a press release, city officials said the forecasted low temperatures and wind chills will meet the current threshold to activate the Warming Center.

According the release, The Stanton Center, located at 92 West Washington St. Annapolis, MD, 21401, will open at the following time to provide emergency temporary warming relief to community members who need this service:

Wednesday, November 20th, at 7:00 pm until Wednesday morning at 7:00 a.m.

Thursday, November 21st, at 7:00 pm until Wednesday morning at 7:00 a.m.

Patrons who take advantage of this service must:

Arrive for the initial screening process by 9:00 pm

Entry will be denied to those in possession of drugs, alcohol, and/or weapons

Smoking on the premises is prohibited

Exit the facility no later than 7:00 am the following day
