County Police Arrest 3 Subjects Following Assault Turned Drug Investigation in Glen Burnie

Officers with the Anne Arundel County Police Department has reoprtedly arrested three people in connection with an assault turned drug investigation.  

In a press release, department officials said that on September 26, 2023, at approximately 3:45 p.m., officers responded for an assault at a residence on Gatewood Court in Glen Burnie. The investigation revealed that a dispute originated at a residence in the 400 block of Hardmoore Court, where a 31-year-old male and a 27-year-old female were assaulted and threatened with a handgun, according to the press release. 

"The victims fled the residence to a house on Gatewood Court. One of the suspects followed the victims and continued to assault them and a 13-year-old female at the Gatewood Court address and attempted to force his way into the home," police said in the statement. "Responding officers located the suspect at the Gatewood Court location and took him into custody. The investigation led to the execution of a search warrant at the residence on Hardmoore Court, where two other suspects in the assault were located and apprehended. The search resulted in the seizure of evidence of the assault, including a metal bat and a replica handgun."

Department officials said that 34 syringes of suspected Morphine, two digital scales, six small clear containers with a white powdery residue of suspected cocaine, two white bottles labeled "Morphine Sulfate," and a pill bottle with an obliterated prescription label containing 20 white oval pills of suspected Tramadol Hydrochloridewhite (50 Mg) were also recovered.
